Old Testament Essentials

Christians love the Bible, but they often do not know what to do with the Old Testament," writes Tremper Longman. Jesus made a point to tell his disciples that the whole Old Testament anticipated his coming. Each session helps us anticipate the New Testament. Through this, we discover the links between the two testaments and gain a fuller sense of our unfolding salvation history.
Each week opens with a 10 minute video teaching by Tremper Longman of Westmont College. Optionally, you can purchase a text that goes with the series, from either Amazon or Christian Books.
Class facilitators include Bo Kaufmann, Doug Mostrom, Esther Hu, and Ying-On Yan.
There are two different days of the week to choose from:
  1. Sunday mornings at 11:00AM in Room 205 in the 59 Worthen Road building (the main church building, starting September 7.
  2. Wednesday evenings at 7:00PM over Zoom, starting September 10.  Contact Bo Kaufmann for the Zoom link.
