Our Sunday morning programs are designed to teach your child about God in a fun way and allow them to see Him in action each week, through our wonderful team of trained Kidstown volunteers. We offer regular programs throughout the school year.
Toddlers and Preschoolers learn valuable lessons through Bible lessons, music, crafts, and play time. Kids in Kindergarten through 3rd grade meet together in a large group for a time of worship and learning, and then break down into small groups where we reinforce the lessons from the large group teaching. Kids in 4th and 5th grade meet together for a pre-teen experience, and then also break out into small groups.
While we're meeting online only here are some ways you can still connect and participate with Grace Chapel Kidstown.
Friendship groups are Kidstown versions of family facilitated ‘community kid groups’ where parents and kids from early childhood to 5th grade get to connect with other families in their area, outside of Kidstown, when, where, and however it works best for them.
Drive to our visitor parking for easy parking and quick access to the building through our main entrance. Once inside, head through the lobby and down the stairs to Kidstown (there's a big colorful Kidstown sign by the steps). From there, one of our friendly volunteers will welcome you with a new visitor welcome bag and help you register your child. Drop off your children to their appropriate classrooms before heading to service - we'll help guide you to the right place! This whole process takes just a few minutes but plan to arrive a little earlier than the service so we can get you all set!
God made every kid unique and we care about families with special needs. Our SHINE buddies help kids with special needs experience all that Grace has to offer on Sunday mornings. If you’d like to learn more, connect with our SHINE ministry.
We would love to welcome your infant or toddler to one of our environments. Our team of Kidstown volunteers love to hold babies, push strollers, blow bubbles, teach lessons and lead craft activities. We offer four different infant rooms for your child based on their development – from new babies to crawlers to walkers, there is a place for your child in Kidstown. Our toddler area has three different classrooms based on age and development. In each of these areas your child will cared for by our incredible team of volunteers all while learning about Jesus and his love for them.
We have four different preschool environments for our 3-5 year old Kidstown attendees. These rooms are large, offering many types of play opportunities (including sensory-free spaces). Our curriculum in these environments gives children an opportunity to play games, do crafts, sing, dance and hear an engaging Bible story all while providing plenty of space for free play and social interaction with the other children and leaders.
In our elementary environments, all children are welcomed into grade-specific small groups with curriculum targeted to their age and development. Children will be greeted by a small group leader who will serve with them throughout the school year. The intentional small group leader and specific roster of children at each table allows children to form important relationships while learning Biblical truths, to worship together in large group, and to engage in age-appropriate activities that reinforce the day’s lesson.
