How did the religion of Jesus and the Apostles, Biblical Judaism, develop into present-day Judaism? This class will explore Modern Judaism, its branches, core beliefs, symbols, dress, practices, rites, holidays, the role of the rabbi, and the function of the synagogue. The class will emphasize the similarities and differences between evangelical Christianity and traditional Judaism.
