Our Senior Pastor Search continues as we collaborate with Vanderbloemen, the search firm parterning with us in this process, and we prepare to review our first round of recommended candidates.

The Senior Pastor Search Committee is grateful for your continued prayers and support as we move forward in this important season. We’d like to share an update on our progress since our last report.

Thank you for the many candidate recommendations submitted through Grace Chapel’s website. As a committee, we have carefully reviewed and discussed each individual, listened to sermons, and invited several people to apply. This process has not only helped us identify potential candidates, but it has also strengthened our approach as a team as we continue to grow in discernment.

As shared previously, we have developed a set of Senior Pastor Criteria to guide our evaluation process. These criteria build upon the qualifications outlined in the job description and reflect the qualities we are prayerfully seeking in our next Senior Pastor.

After Easter, we will meet in person with Vanderbloemen to review their recommended first round of candidates. From there, we will begin the interview process with those who appear to be a strong fit. In preparation, we have been developing an interview process and thought-provoking questions aligned with these criteria.
