We're hitting the pause button.

Our goal when we launched The Gathering was to create a space for open thinking and prayerful worship that embraced a diversity of ideas, voices, and life experiences. We wanted a place that a thoughtful seeker, a deconstructing Christian, or anyone seeking a more fluid, organic worship experience would feel right at home. We wanted to foster a real sense of belonging that extended beyond Sunday, starting with dinner together right after the service. 

And in many ways we succeeded.

But as with many startups, there comes a time to step back, examine the progress, and re-evaluate things like vision and strategy. So we're taking a pause from our regular Sunday gatherings to do just that.
