DIBS - Book of Amos (online)
Description
Led by John Ratichek and Tim Min
Online Short Term Group
Sundays at 11:15a
Feb 20 - Apr 10
The purpose of the study is to ponder the mind and heart of God through Amos’ prophetic work in the northern kingdom of Israel. How well do we know what God cares deeply about? How should we wrestle with His purpose and character as He treats people with tough love? And shouldn’t we ask: So what?
We will use dialogical inductive bible study (DIBS) to explore Amos’ engagement of these people. This 8-week class will consist of individual scripture study, small group discussion, and large group discussion. All classes will be conducted by Zoom beginning at 11:15 AM on Sunday mornings. There will be no group gathering at the church. To help prompt and guide our study, scripture sections and pertinent questions will be sent to all participants by email on Friday before each Sunday class.
