Join us on November 15 at 7:30am for some awesome “home cooked” bacon & eggs followed by dive into Lebanon in the Bible and how Christianity and Islam are intersecting in Lebanon. You may not be aware that Lebanon is a critical backdrop for stories throughout the Bible, referenced 71 times in the Old Testament alone. These stories include, among others, Jesus's encounter with the Syrophoenician women and Saint Paul's third journey. Over breakfast, our very own Fadi Karim (who is from Lebanon) will lead us in a discussion that will bring life to the Biblical ancient cities of Tyre, Sidon, Byblos, Baalbek, Beirut, and the Cedars of God. He'll contrast Biblical times with modern times and bring it all alive with some amazing pictures. This talk promises to be a lively journey through the Bible, history, and current scenes from Lebanon...and will lay the groundwork for better understanding this delicate region's religious complexity.
Please register so we know how much food to cook up.
