As Grace Chapel leans into Community Engagement, we are choosing to give back to our local community. Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday, May 24, 2025.

We will be partnering with the Lexington Retailers Association to host a Kids Fun Zone during Discovery Day 2025. The Kids Fun Zone consists of bouncy houses, games, and crafts for families attending Discovery Day.

Areas to serve:
1. Set-up & Clean-up Shifts: Volunteers would arrive early help us set up our stations, decorations, tables, and games. Or, they will help us clean them up and put them back at the end of the day. Set-up shift will be 8-10am, and clean-up shift will be 3-4pm.
2. Station Leader: Volunteers would either staff a station--helping the kids who come with game, activities, and bouncy house--or be on the Connections Team as greeters and welcome tent staff. The two shifts will be 10am-12:30pm, and 12:30pm-3pm.

We will be having a training on Friday May 23 at 7pm. Training will go over positions and roles. And how the day will go. Light refreshments will be served.
