About the Event
LexingtonWomen
Please join us on Saturday, June 24 for a unique event: our women’s Bible art journaling breakfast! Are you a kinesthetic or visual learner? Do you enjoy arts and crafts? You don't have to be good at art to enjoy making it! We hope you can join us, and invite a friend! We’ll learn about the practice of Bible art journaling, spend time digging into the Word together, and then have a chance to try it out ourselves. And we promise—you don't have to be good at art to join us—perfection isn't the goal. We want to create a space for women to freely engage with the Word and help imprint it in their hearts and lock it in their minds through creative expression. Especially as we talk about sharing our faith with the next generation, we’re encouraging women to bring their daughters, granddaughters, nieces, or neighbors, ages 12 and up. No previous experience with either the Bible or Bible art journaling necessary--all are welcome.
Our time together will include breakfast, a brief devotional on the passage (John 8:12: “I am the light of the world”), a workshop on the practice of Bible art journaling, and then time to try it out together. The cost ($25 per person) includes both breakfast and materials. Scholarships are available—please reach out to Grace Lee (glee@grace.org) to inquire.
Time: 9-11am
Location: Courtyard, Lexington Campus (59 Worthen Rd, main building)
