As we look ahead to the search for our next Senior Pastor, we recognize the importance leaning into a time of prayer, discernment, and listening. While these are facets of any Senior Pastor search process, in light of what we’ve learned over the last year we’re taking extra steps to listen, and learn from you - our congregation.

Grace Chapel is a large church, and we’re diverse in many ways, but that diversity isn’t always apparent at first glance. Some of us were raised in the church, some are new to the Christian faith. Some of us come from other faith traditions. And some of us are in a time of questioning, even de- or reconstructing our faith.

But there’s one thing we all have in common: we all want the best for, and from, this church we call home. This is why your thoughts, your input, and your ideas matter.

To gain a better understanding of what’s working well here at Grace Chapel and what isn’t, we’re working with an organization called VitalChurch Ministry, a group of pastors and who specialize in helping churches through the early pre-work of the discernment process when looking for a new Senior Pastor. This group uses a survey and interviews to help churches gain insight into things that aren’t always readily apparent. It’s a valuable and helpful step.

This survey is an opportunity for anyone to speak openly and freely about their experience here at Grace Chapel. All responses to the survey are anonymous, and most of the survey is multiple choice. We’re asking everyone who’s part of this church to take about 30 minutes to complete this survey before June 1.

More info on the survey and the link to take it can be found here:
