Discipleship Spring Short Term Groups
- Jesus and The Gospels (in person only) – Sundays at 11 AM; Room 105; starting April 28. Facilitators: Doug Mostrom and Bo Kaufmann Sundays 11:00 am; In-person, 2 Militia Dr., Room 105 Length: 9 Weeks In this video study series, prolific author and speaker Scot McKnight makes accessible his decades of teaching and writing on Jesus and the Gospels. Join Dr. McKnight as he introduces the person of Jesus as he is revealed in the Gospels and in the testimony of the earliest Christians. The study series unpacks the historical context of the Gospels and their key literary features. Topics include: the Kingdom of God, the Ethics of Jesus, the Sermon on the Mount, the Parables, and the Resurrection. - Roots (In-person and Zoom) – Sunday at 11AM; Room 102; starting February 25; As Christ followers, what kind of people should we be, and what kind of behavior should characterize our lives? This group helps us to discover answers to those questions, through daily readings and weekly gathering where we discuss what we have found out about the heart of God for living in His kingdom.
