Alpha in English for Speakers of Other Languages

Attending an Alpha for ESOL course is a great way to explore questions of life and faith and its designed especially for people who are new to hearing Christian concepts and for those whose primary language is not English. 

The course allows for more frequent discussion times and invites you to consider each topic or idea individually, at a pace that is comfortable for you.

The Alpha course provides people from all traditions, backgrounds and worldviews an opportunity to explore the Christian faith in a safe, non-threatening, relaxed, environment. You can ask anything. No question is off limits or too hostile.Many who attend find it is a great place to practice conversational English with others.

Everyone is Welcome!

People who attend the course come from many different backgrounds, religions, cultures and worldviews.Alpha is for everyone who thinks there may be more to life than meets the eye.The evening begins with a delicious dinner, followed by a series of short live talks presented by trained live speakers. The format provides opportunities for you to listen and then discuss your thoughts with your fellow guests all through out the evening. 

Topics include:

"Who is Jesus?”

"How Can I Be Sure of My Faith?"

"Why and How Should I Pray?"

 

There is no charge for the course.Why not give it a try

The Alpha for ESOL course provides guests:

An opportunity to discuss your questions about life and faith

A no pressure atmosphere, you can discuss your views with other adults like yourself

The ability to just listen or express your views - it's up to you

An opportunity to explore important issues often unsafe to discuss
