Urgent Prayer & Support Needed: Flooding and Mudslides in Nepal

On August 26, 2026, catastrophic flash floods tore through the Nepal–Tibet border region, sweeping away entire villages and leaving communities reeling from immense loss. Families have lost homes, livelihoods, and loved ones in a matter of hours.

We have four ministry partners in Nepal, all based in and around Kathmandu. We're thankful to report that all four have confirmed they and their volunteers are safe. But the needs around them are urgent and growing.

Our Partners on the Ground

Nepal Ebenezer Theological Seminary, led by Kiran Sharma, is a small, indigenous Bible school and seminary that equips Nepalese believers to serve local churches throughout the country.

Bethel Assembly of God Church, led by Samuel and Karuna Bomzon, anchors an extensive network of Assembly of God church plants across Nepal. 

NBCBS, the IFES-related university student ministry, is led by Arjun Gadal — brand new in his role as General Secretary, though he's been part of the ministry for several years. Their student work reaches across the entire country, discipling the next generation of secular and church leaders for Nepal.

Prison Fellowship Nepal, part of the Prison Fellowship International network, is led by Dinesh Neupane, who will be joining us for Global Awareness Week this year. PFN Nepal runs a residential care home in Kathmandu for prisoners' children, along with a farm that generates income and offers job training.
