Rebuilding Our Future

Everywhere you turn there is a headline or a voice on a screen or a personality on social media telling us that we don’t know what the future holds. Often, this creates anxiety for us as there are so many unknowns. At the same time, we can't leave our lives anxious, disrupted or even in ruins. We have to rebuild. Similarly, the children of Israel had to rebuild their lives, their city, their future upon returning from exile. The story of Nehemiah tells us that with God's help, we can rebuild for today and for our future.
