Why study the history of Christianity? As modern Christians living as Christ’s witnesses (Acts 1:8), exploring key moments in Christianity’s past gives us an opportunity to reflect upon our current spiritual and worldly states in light of historical Christian perspectives and events, both good and not-so-good. This class will make a special effort to link the past with relevant aspects of the present. We will be “looking in the rear view mirror” to learn how to live more wisely today. Come be inspired and challenged as we trace the Christian genealogy and path that comprises our spiritual past.
