That Time When Jesus Compared the Kingdom to Different Kinds of Dirt

In Mark 4, Jesus gives us the Parable of the Sower and describes the Kingdom as different kinds of soil. Now I’m not a farmer, but it seems that the sower is wasting his time and energy trying to plant on walkways, briers and weeds. Why? We want to examine the different angles and features of this parable and hopefully see what Jesus means when he describes the Kingdom as different kinds of dirt.
