Steve Hamilton

Steve grew up here in Lexington; graduated from Northeastern University and married Jackie (who is from Lexington, KY), in 1973. They have attended Grace since they married (Steve actually began attending in 1961). Steve and Jackie have two grown children and 7 grandchildren and live in Carlisle. Locally known for their work as homebuilders, they retired in late 2015. Steve now works whenever possible as a stone mason, assembling granite monuments and engravings of God’s word at the Living Stone Foundation in Leominster. He is also on their Board of Directors. Growing up at Grace and in his walk with Christ has included 20 years mentoring boys with Christian Service Brigade, teaching 6th grade Sunday School, and serving several terms on leadership Boards. Steve was coached in “manuscript Bible study” by John Ratichek and Doug Whallon beginning in the late 1980’s and has delighted in teaching each class as it presses to go deeper into the principles of God’s Word. Steve enjoys deeper family involvements, motorcycling, bicycling, shooting, and along with Jackie continues in mission initiatives with our GC Moldova Partnership.
