Steve & Janet Hathaway

Janet and Steve Hathaway have been married 31 years and have two married children who grew up at Grace Chapel. Steve has worked for the Department of Defense as a nuclear engineer since graduating from Northeastern University. He leads a men’s Bible/book study, and volunteers with a local Boy Scout troop. In her “former life” (before children), Janet worked for IBM as a systems engineer. Once the kids arrived, Janet was a mom-at-home (when she wasn’t in her car) through most of their growing-up years. She attended Mom-to-Mom at Grace Chapel, and Bible Study Fellowship, eventually becoming a discussion group leader for BSF. Most recently, she has co-led a women’s bible study in Andover. She also works part-time for a financial planner. Together they volunteer with Home Improvement Ministries.



Two of the best decisions Steve and Janet made were to go, as a family, to camp every summer, and to go, as a family, on two missions trips to Trinidad. Steve and Janet are passionate about marriage and parenting.
