[Read and Watch] Never Give Up!

Men, we all face challenges, some more severe than others. Take some encouragement from Scott Burrows.

In Ephesians 6:10-12 Paul stated: “Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities fo the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.”

In other words, the chips are stacked against us and in a moment’s notice our world can turn completely upside down. It happened to Joni Eareckson Tada and it happened to this guy.

The temptation is to give up and give in with no hope. Ah, but there is great hope for those who are in Christ Jesus and have a vibrant and growing relationship with. So rather than get depressed, get active just like Paul exhorted the church in Galatians 6:9 “So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”
