Dear Group Leaders,

 

Grace and peace to you this 2019. Among my prayers is that we wold be faithful stewards in helping people connect, belong, and mature in faith and community. We cannot overstate how invaluable you are and the role you play in the life of our church. Thank you for all you do and may this be a fulfilling year as we serve the Kingdom of Jesus together.

IMPORTANT: GROUP LIFE TRAINING BRUNCH AT YOUR CAMPUS

NEXT WEEK

We are in the final stages of putting together an effective time of training to continue strengthening our group life throughout Grace Chapel and to fulfill this year’s hope of helping people belong. We’ll be as practical as possible but we also want to equip you with insights from experts who study the topic of “belonging” specifically within small group ministry. Throughout the morning, we'll unpack why some people and groups seem to have an easier time connecting and why some people don’t feel they belong. And of course, what we can do to help.

 

Please invite anyone from your leadership team or key people who come to mind. The more people helping to create a culture of belonging in your group, the easier it is for you as a leader and the better it is for the group.

CONNECT SUNDAY FEBRUARY 10

We will have Connect Sunday on February 10th after the worship services throughout our campus lobbies. Many of you might remember that the winter Connect is a little different than the fall. While the one in October aims to have as many open groups as possible, the winter Connect aims to intentionally be smaller so groups that could use a shot in the arm can receive higher visibility. So if your group is new, has had a few members move away, and/or could use a few more people, we’d love for you to participate. Please RSVP to the same person you sent the Brunch RSVP to (above) by Sunday, February 3, and we’ll tell you the next steps.

NEW RESOURCES ON RIGHTNOW MEDIA

In addition to our LC Study Guide (www.grace.org/studyguide), there are new resources added on RightNow Media each month.
