1%: An Invitation to Give

1% Invitation from Pastor Bryan
At Grace, we don’t believe that we HAVE to give, we believe that we GET to give. Giving is a joyful journey and its part of how we worship, honor, and trust our great God. We hope that everyone at Grace, whenever you’re ready, will experience the incredible joy of giving! If you’re already on this journey, this is an opportunity to continue to grow, worship and celebrate how God is working in and through you and our church.
With that in mind, we’d like to remind you of the 1% Invitation that Pastor Bryan mentioned on Sunday, May 1st. The invitation goes like this – if you are giving 3% of your income, try giving 4%, if you are giving 11%, try giving 12% and if you haven’t started giving – start by giving 1% of your income for the next 90 days. And if at the end of 90 days you don’t feel more freedom, more joy, and more contentment, then you can simply go back to what you were giving before the 1% Invitation.
Please know that this is not about giving to Grace. This is about giving to God in response to His love. And honestly, please feel free give to another meaningful ministry if you’d like. As Pastor Bryan said, we don’t want something from you – we want something for you! We want you to experience the joy of generosity and worship by giving!
If you want – it is easy give to Grace – you can give through the Grace Chapel app, on the Grace Chapel website, in the giving boxes at the back of our sanctuaries or you can always send a gift to the church offices. And if you are ready to take the step, you can also set up a recurring gift that is completely within your control.
