Kidstown needs a wide range of volunteers, from small group leaders to check in team, to tech and large group leaders. There are so many ways to serve in Kidstown! Some of these roles work directly with engaging and building relationships with children and parents while other roles are a bit more behind the scenes. Interested, have questions, or want to start a conversation about what it would look like to serve in Kidstown? Fill out the 1 minute "Serve in NextGen" form below to get in touch with us!
Small Group Leader
A Small Group Leader co-leads a Sunday morning small group for similar aged children. A more hands-on role with kids in classrooms, spanning all ages of Kidstown from babies to 5th graders. Key roles include reinforcing the Bible Story of the day, running games/activities to help children understand the Bible Story, and taking an interest in each child in your classroom, or around your table. Curriculum is provided for PreK – 5th grade.
There is also an option to be a cross campus virtual Small Group Leader.
Check In Team
A member of this team will be the front lines of greeting our families and getting them registered/checked into the system for the morning before they head to their classrooms. This team will assist families at our manned check in stations, as well as troubleshoot the self-check in stations.
Event Support Team
An Event Support volunteer helps to run our events smoothly through event set up, tear down, administrative support and registration. This helps to free up the Kidstown staff so they can fully participate and interact with children and their families during the event.
This team works behind the scenes to ensure all campuses and all classrooms have the supplies needed to effectively teach the Bible lessons each Sunday. If you like details, and have some weekday time available, this team is for you!
