We're open for in-person worship services at all locations!

After fourteen months of meeting online or outdoors only, we are excited to announce that beginning Sunday June 13 we'll be holding in-person worship services at all Grace Chapel campuses!

As we progress with our phased approach to reopening our buildings, we're continuing to follow health and safety guidelines provided by the CDC and Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The FAQs below provide more detail on how these guidelines impact our in-person ministry activities at all locations.

For information on our Health & Safety measures, review the "Relaunching Safely" section below.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to pre-register?

No, we will no longer require pre-registration to attend Sunday in-person services.

If I’ve been vaccinated, do I have to bring my vaccination card?

No, there is no need to bring your card.

Can I sit where I want?

Yes, we will no longer require socially distant seating, and you will be able to enter and exit our buildings freely. But to accommodate those preferring some social distance please ask politely if neighboring seats are available (we anticipate having plenty of extra room for all attendees).

Do I have to wear a mask?

Masks are no longer required, both indoors and outside, for anyone who is fully vaccinated. Wearing a mask is optional and encouraged for those who prefer to wear one for any reason.

Will Grace Chapel Staff be wearing masks?

We are not requiring our staff to wear a mask if they are fully vaccinated, but all will have a mask at their disposal when talking with someone wearing a mask.

Do children have to wear a mask?

Mask-wearing for children attending services, many of whom are not yet eligible for a vaccination, will be determined by their parents.

Are Sunday Kidstown programs happening?

Currently, we are launching in-person Sunday services only. We are carefully working out the details of welcoming your kids back to Kidstown on Sundays and will look to the recommendations and guidelines of the State as it relates to the protection of children and childcare workers. Kidstown relaunch information will be updated on this page in early July.

When are other ministries relaunching in person?

Only Sunday in person worship services in our sanctuaries, and previously authorized and planned ministry activities (such as Kids Week), will relaunch at this time. Other ministries are taking additional time as we rebuild our volunteer teams and make preparations to relaunch. Information on relaunching other ministries will be updated on this page.

How are we handling food and beverages?

The Lexington Crossroads Café, kitchen usage and coffee stations at all campuses, etc. will remain on a temporary hold until we confirm that we have met all local Board of Health permit requirements for restarting usage.  We are moving quickly to gain the needed approvals.

What other safety precautions are being taken?

Refer to the "Relaunching Safely" section below for more details on the safety measures we're taking at all of our campus locations.

Relaunch Safety Measures

Even as progress in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic continues, we're still doing our best to offer a safe worship experience at all of our campuses. Each facility gets a thorough cleaning between services and events, we've upgraded to HEPA air filtration systems and hands-free restroom facilities at all campuses, and we've provided hand sanitizer stations throughout all of our buildings' public spaces for easy access.

While masks are not required, they are respected. If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask, we encourage you to do so!

We're all in this together! So please take note of the following guidelines before you attend one of our services:

  • If you or anyone in your party has any symptoms associated with COVID-19, please join us online instead.
  • If you or anyone in your party has had prolonged exposure to anyone who's tested positive for COVID-19, please join us online instead.

Refer to our app for the latest details and information on how to give. And if you're new, fill out our online connection card!
