Evangelicals today in America are debating whether or not to continue to use the term to identify themselves. This course will help us to understand the history of that word beginning with the description of the Gospel in the New Testament. We will look at how the term Evangelical has been used in the history of the Church, including the twentieth century and today. And we will discuss the pros and cons of using the term in today’s world.
