You're Invited: How Eating with Others Contributes to a Good and Beautiful Life

The parable of the Great Banquet illustrates the power of sharing a common meal. People said yes to an invitation and then backed out at the last minute, communicating their own agendas were more important than what they had agreed to. Jesus encourages us to extend invitations to others, and say yes to invitations that come our way, so we might deepen relationships, create memories, and communicate value and respect, in hopes that the Lord might add to our number in the same way he did with the early church.
