Friday Night Singles
Our singles group is open to adult singles of any age or background. We enjoy music, fun, fellowship and discussion around relevant topics for today’s changing times.
September - May, we meet on the second and fourth Fridays of the month in the Adult Learning Center (2 Militia Drive) at 7pm in Room 205 (on the top floor).
We have additional events & activities, which are listed below.
Our series for 2009 will be the video series "Paul the Apostle" by David Nasser, and our series for 2010 will be the video series "No Plan B" by Todd Phillips and selected videos from the 2009 Leadership Summit. (beginning 9/25/09 and ending 4/23/10)

Part speaker, author, visionary and ALL minister, David Nasser’s greatest passion is to connect people to the living God. David, his wife Jennifer and their children live in Alabama, the home of D. Nasser Outreach.
Todd Phillips is a master storyteller and Bible teacher extraordinaire. He uses those gifts to deliver practical user-friendly lessons that are easy to listen to and hard to ignore. He continually shows God’s light to non-believers while inspiring Christians to ‘get out of their box’ and remember their calling (Matthew 28:18-20). In 2004, Todd finished writing his first book, Spiritual CPR: Reviving a Flat-lined Generation. He is currently serving as the pastor of Frontline Church in Washington D.C. He and wife, Julie, have three children.
Harvey Carey is the Founder and Senior Pastor of the Citadel of Faith Covenant Church in Detroit, Michigan, the fastest-growing multicultural church in the region. He is known internationally as a dynamic speaker whose inspiring leadership and vision for urban renewal unites people across boundaries of race, age, class and culture. Carey’s international speaking ministry continues to change lives with the transforming truth of God’s word. He is a skilled communicator known for his ability to speak to any audience with passion, clarity and authority. He resides in Central Detroit with his wife, Nancy and daughter, Tiffany.
Wess Stafford, President of Compassion International, is an internationally recognized advocate for children in poverty. His daily radio feature, Speak Up With Compassion ®, is heard on nearly 600 radio stations in the United States. Founded in 1952, Compassion International is one of the world's largest Christian child development agencies, partnering with more than 65 denominations and thousands of local churches to serve more than 800,000 children in 24 countries. Wess lives on a small ranch near Colorado Springs, Colorado, with Donna, his wife of 27 years, and their two daughters, Jenny and Katie.
Jessica Jackley is a co-founder of Kiva, and the spirit behind the organization. Jessica first saw the power and beauty of microfinance while working in rural Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda with Village Enterprise Fund and Project Baobab on impact evaluation and program development. Jessica has spoken widely on microfinance and social entrepreneurship, and has seen microfinance at work in a variety of communities in more than 30 countries.
Dave Gibbons is the founding pastor of Newsong Church, a multi-generational, multi-ethnic, multi-continental, multi-site church in Irvine, CA., and leads the Newsong Global Alliance, a catalytic church organization with expanding, worldwide reach into Asia, Central America, and Europe. He is a vision-oriented leader known for his insightful thinking on the future of the church. He brings expertise on “Third Culture” leadership and the top skills and experiences every leader will need to reach our global culture with the gospel.
