This ministry has been working to move people from poverty to self-sufficiency since 1899. Joyce founded Hagar’s Sisters as a support group for women who currently are in or have been in an abusive relationship. Support comes through meetings, special events, on-going support from small group leaders and members, and crisis intervention and resource referral.
A residential program for pregnant teens and their babies. Offers education in nutrition, child care, finance, and career planning. Support and guidance is offered to help these teens move on to private Christian homes and reach new goals.

A non-profit, non-denominational Christian organization geared toward meeting the special needs of women with drug or alcohol related problems. To overcome these problems, New Life provides the following: a drug free voluntary residential program lasting 12-18 months; a Christian atmosphere with emphasis on biblical principles: Christian homes for their children; a predominantly female staff; Spanish speaking personnel; daily Bible classes; physical education; peer group support; personal counseling; a G.E.D. program and college courses. Women with children as well as unwed mothers are also welcomed into the program.
Addresses various needs of individuals offering counseling, legal, residential, and health care assistance. The goal of all services is to enable each person to reach his or her fullest potential in Christ. Residential program for multiply injured people needing emotional, spiritual, and relational healing. For people suffering from addictive disease, mental illness, AIDS, chronic/acute physical illness or disability, homelessness, abuse, and/or violence. Volunteer opportunities include inside or outside painting, yard cleanup, fence repair, meal preparation, recreational activity, help with worship services, mentoring, etc.
