The Multicultural Leadership/Learning Team should:
A. Equip all ministries at Grace Chapel – the objective should be to further the articulated goals of Grace Chapel and its individual ministries, rather than create a new set of goals.
B. Seek to understand how unity can be achieved in a diverse body of Christ.
C. Assess where we are as a church.
D. Be a proactive body that can act on the desires of many in the congregation to have a more integrated, welcoming church environment.
E. Act as the eyes and ears of those from various cultures to observe and critique elements of our ministries that are not welcoming - delivering tools and not just feedback.
F. Act as a liaison with church leadership – to present issues and seek God’s guidance.
G. Seek ways to assist ministries in broadening the pool of emerging leadership – identifying potential leaders early and often, and helping to understand how our definitions of leadership may need to evolve in order to recognize a changing congregation.
