Getting Involved

The Grace Chapel Choir has long been a part of the church’s rich worship history. This group is open to singers of all ages who can read music or at least follow along on a part when singing in a group. The choir rehearses Wednesday evenings and serves two to three Sundays a month primarily at the Classic (8:30 am) service but occasionally at all three morning services in addition to Easter and Christmas Eve. This group is especially suited to singers who enjoy traditional music and learning/ presenting anthems.   Our goal is a choir of 100 members so the more the merrier.  The commitment is as follows:

Rehearsal Thursday evenings: 7:00PM - 9:30PM

Sunday Morning: Run through begins at 7:30AM, sing at 8:30, 10:00, & 11:30AM

Music will be available two weeks prior to performance. Singers are expected to come to rehearsal having listened to and read through the music to understand the roadmap of the piece and to begin to address any difficult passages in the piece. 

Requirements:  You must be able to distinguish one pitch from another and be able to follow along in the music when in a group. No audition is required.

Our Choir welcomes members and regular attenders of all ages who can independently demonstrate a mature commitment to our schedule and our ministry goals.
