On Friday, October 5 at 7:30pm Chuck Colson presented “Surviving the Clash of Civilizations”

Sound like a sci-fi film? It's not. It's a real battle going on today — a clash of competing cultures and worldviews that has a profound influence on where our world is headed . . . and on how we will live our lives.

Time Magazine called Mr. Colson one of today's "more thoughtful public voices," as the inaugural speaker of this exciting speaker series.

Chuck Colson is founder of Prison Fellowship a ministry in collaboration with churches of all confessions and denominations to promote prisoner rehabilitation and reform of the prison system. Operating in all 50 states, it is the world's largest faith-based outreach to prisoners, ex-prisoners, crime victims, and their families.

He is the founder of the Wilberforce Forum which includes BreakPoint, a daily radio broadcast aired on one thousand stations where he discusses contemporary issues, faith, culture and the struggles between spiritual and secular worldviews. His 20 books have collectively sold more than five million copies, including his groundbreaking Gold Medallion Book Award winning book, "How Now Shall We Live?”

The Friday program also featured Mark Earley, president of Prison Fellowship, and Rev. Danny Croce, chaplain at Plymouth County Correctional Institution, who described their experiences in the "clash" of civilizations and worldviews as it relates to the criminal justice system and the very heart of crime.

There was a Follow-up Restorative Justice Workshop on Saturday October 6

Colson, Earley, and Croce returned on Saturday morning, October 6 for a panel discussion, workshop sessions, and a question-and-answer period with Mr. Colson.
