Grace Chapel is privileged to have Mr. Sam Rodriguez as a Distinguished Series speaker. A participant at both the Democratic and Republican Conventions, Mr. Rodriguez’s is sought out by national political leaders as a spokesperson for Hispanic issues. Newsweek Magazine reported presidential contenders from both the Democratic and Republican parties have courted Mr. Rodriguez “with ingratiating calls, offers to meet and VIP invitations to debates.”
Sam Rodriguez is the President of The National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference. He heads-up an organization that is the leading force of the Hispanic/Latino Church in America. The NHCLC is an association of more than 10,000 Hispanic churches which serves as advocates for 40 Million Hispanics in respect to family, socio-economic, political empowerment and immigration issues.
Sam was raised in Bethlehem, PA., by Puerto Rican parents and now lives in California. For the last decade he has been cultivating a network of Latino community leaders nationwide. He serves as a voice for the Hispanic community, and has been very effective in broadening the debate around immigration. Just as the Presidential aspirants have been listening, this evening is an opportunity for us to learn more about the challenging issues of immigration.
