Walter Hicks, Gary Thorburn, and guest speakers, Room 201

Genesis: A New Look at an Old Book Did you know that Abraham lived around 2000 BC and that the Pharaoh that Joseph worked for probably wasn't Egyptian? We will look at the text of Genesis, as well as the theology and historical background. We will discuss parallel literature from the time period and even talk about why geography matters. Ben Bythewood, Room G-2
