CUAW About Intercultural Leadership Consultation

Cultural Awareness Weekend 2007

2007 Intercultural Leadership Consultation:
New England’s Book of Acts • Saturday, October 20th

The Acts 1:8 Dynamic
Acts tells the story of the in-breaking of God’s kingdom in the first century. It describes how the Gospel advanced and churches were planted through key events and key people, addressing key issues. The story follows the concentric movement set forth in Acts 1:8, “You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

A similar phenomenon is occurring in our cities, region, and world today. Like the book of Acts, God is using “devout peoples from every nation under heaven” for His mighty works. These people are finding the city to be a passageway into the regions and the various nations that He has brought to our shores.

Intercultural Worship Celebration Thy Kingdom Come: On Earth as it is in Heaven

The vision of heaven described in Revelation is that of “people from every tribe and language and people and nation” worshipping together at the throne of Christ. But God does not want us to wait until heaven to realize that vision. This evening of intercultural worship will be a time of celebration, but also a time of challenge for each of us to remove from our hearts whatever is hindering God’s kingdom from advancing

No Tickets Required for Intercultural Worship Celebration

“. . .with your blood you purchased men for God, from every tribe and language and people and nation, you have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God,and they will reign on earth” – Revelation 5:9b-10
