ESOL: English for Speakers of Other Languages
Description
ESOL classes at Grace Chapel help immigrants and international students in the local community learn conversational English in a comfortable setting. Class levels range from beginning to advanced. (ESOL was formerly known as ESL: English as a Second Language.)
Fall & Spring class schedule:
- Tuesday evenings - 7:00-8:30 pm
- Thursday evenings - 7:00-8:30 pm
- Wednesday mornings - Classes meet for one hour between 10 am and 12 noon. (The students’ and teachers’ schedules will determine the best time for each class level.)
Summer class schedule:
- Tuesday evenings - 7:00-8:30 pm

2008 Registration & Placement
Spring '08 Evening Class Registration: Closed.
Spring '08 Morning Class Registration: Wednesdays, 9:30-10:00am, ongoing.
Summer '08 Class Registration: Tuesday, May 27, 7:00-8:30 pm. (Classes start on Tuesday, June 3.)
Registration and all classes are held at the Grace Chapel Adult Learning Center, 2 Militia Drive, Lexington, MA
Cost
Grace Chapel seeks to keep costs low. Costs for the spring 2008 semester are:
- One evening class per week: $65
- Two evening classes per week: $90
- Morning class: $50
