Position Title: Administrative Assistant - Outreach Team (Full time)
Purpose of Position
The person in this high-functioning position will partner with our pastors, ministry assistants and volunteer teams in supporting, communicating, and facilitating the day-to-day details of the Global, Regional and Local Outreach ministries. This gifted person will allow the members of the Outreach team to focus their efforts on leading, equipping, teaching and connecting.

- Communication:Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a variety of mediums (face-to-face, telephone, email, letters).
- Computer Skills: Strong computer skills with specific proficiency in MS Office applications. (Web skills would be a plus.)
- Passionate: A strong desire to be part of a ministry that is focused on reaching out to the lost locally, regionally and globally.
Key Working Relationships
The Administrative Assistant:
1. Is an active participant in the Outreach ministry staff team, and works directly with the members of the team:
- Pastor of Outreach (who supervises this position),
- Pastor of Global & Regional Outreach,
- Pastor and Directors of Children's Ministries,
- Director of Multicultural Ministries.
1. Interacts with volunteer leaders and members of various Outreach ministries.
Ministry Responsibilities
Ministry responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Administration: Oversee and complete routine office tasks, master calendars, contacts, events and projects including:
- Tracking budget, check requests, reimbursements, etc.
- Ordering materials and supplies
- Data entry (such as mission trip participation, donations, etc.)
- Preparing PowerPoint presentations
- Key entry and transcription
- Processing and prioritizing incoming correspondence
- Coordinating travel for mission trips and global ministry partners
2. Communication: Evaluate and maintain a communication system that will communicate effectively to the staff team, volunteers and volunteer teams including:
- Phone calls, mailings, email
- Announcements and schedules
- Maintain website content
- Correspondence with global & regional ministry partners
3. Facilitating: Handling all details for programs, ministry events, and training events including:
- Organizing pastors' schedules and keeping teams organized and on track
- Planning and executing event details (luncheons, meetings, etc.)
- Recruiting and assigning volunteer help
